Basil first worked with You Are Here founder Jeremy Goold when Goold signed him at HSI London and the pair have now been reunited.

Basil first gained critical attention with his cult Riptide video for Vance Joy. He has since gone on to direct numerous pastiche-influenced promos for the likes of Kesha, Flight Facilities, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Kings Of Leon as well as
commercials for i-D, AG Jeans and Rimowa.
