UNIT strengthens production leadership with the promotion of Isabella Wakley to Deputy Head of Production
UNIT, the independent creative short and longform house, announces the promotion of Isabella Wakley to Deputy Head of Production, recognising her key role in the studio’s continued growth and collaborative production culture.
The appointment reflects UNIT’s commitment to developing strong internal leadership across its production divisions, further building on the studio’s momentum from recent senior hires and expanded capabilities.
Working alongside Head of Production, Tania De Sousa, Wakley will help drive the next phase of UNIT’s growth, leading the production department with a shared focus on creative excellence, operational precision and outstanding client service. Together, they represent a production team defined by collaboration, technical craft and consistency.
Since joining UNIT, Wakley has built a reputation for her calm leadership, detail-driven approach and ability to deliver complex, high-profile campaigns with efficiency and style.
As Senior Producer, she has led work for brands including Dove, Starling Bank and Samsung amongst others, earning recognition from clients and colleagues alike for her professionalism and creative insight.
The announcement follows a period of expansion for UNIT, including new senior hires across Film & TV and VFX. The appointments reflect the company’s continued investment in talent and leadership development as it scales its creative offering across commercial, music, film and TV projects.
