Carvana just dropped the next chapter of its Shaq partnership, and this one puts him to work in an unexpected place.
Let's just say the views are great, but he's not exactly what customers ordered. The campaign was created by Carvana, produced by Good Behavior and directed by Win Bates.
This new spot builds on the brand’s Shaqvana campaign from last fall. The partnership itself originally grew out of Shaq's own long-running fascination with Carvana's car vending machines, so this next chapter felt like a natural evolution.

"Shaq doesn't do anything small, so of course his next move was setting up shop in one of our largest vending machines," said Ryan Keeton, Carvana Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer.
"This spot marks the next chapter of our partnership with him, and we're excited to keep finding new ways to bring his big personality to life."
“Shaq was hilarious and surprisingly not that tall,” said Bates. “At one point, he ran to set through a thunderstorm storm in his boxer briefs just to preserve his wardrobe. He also shook my hand and said ‘If the commercial is good, it’s me. And if it’s bad, it’s you.’ I really hope I did not let him down.”
