After sharing short-form treats with locations like Mumbai, Toronto, Shanghai, London and Milan, SourceEcreative took the plunge and brought their creative showcase ‘Presents’ to the glamour, glitz and movie capital of the world – Los Angeles.

Devoting the evening entirely to spotlighting unsigned directorial talent, a collection of distinguished luminaries from the LA production scene were invited to Santa Monica’s Laemmle Theatre to check out a handful of work from the ‘next big thing’s in the industry. Amongst the work shown was Edson Oda’s (in attendance himself) outstanding ‘Malaria’ short, Pier Paolo’s movie-aping animation ‘Cinematics’ and perennial ‘Presents’ favourite Matt Luck’s (again, in attendance) ‘Dancing In The Dark’ alongside 10 other slices of creativity.

Introduced by Worldwide Editor Jamie Madge, having jetted over from the London office especially for the event, the evening then led to a charming drinks reception and networking opportunity on the roof terrace of the Shangri-La Hotel. General consensus was an evening of inspiration and eye-opening talent, with all attendees delighted with the selection of films.
