Celebrating the region’s standout creative work, the shots Awards Asia Pacific has brought together a group of leading names from across craft, production and creativity to oversee this year’s judging.
Across eight categories, each head judge will help guide the shortlisting process before joining their fellow jurors in a series of Zoom discussions to decide the 2026 gold, silver and bronze winners.
The eight categories and their respective head judges are:
Animation & VFX: Emma Daines, Founder, CEO & Executive Producer, FIN DESIGN + EFFECTS ASIA
Casting, Production Design & Styling: Alex Holmes, Production Designer
Concept, Copywriting & Charity/PSA: Shruthi Subramaniam, Executive Creative Director, BBDO India
Cinematography: Kieran Fowler NZCS ACS, Cinematographer
Direction: Michael Ahmadzadeh, Co-Founder, electriclime°
Editing: Leila Gaabi, Editor, The Editors
New Director & Music Video: Yimeng Zhang, Executive Producer, Hamlet China Co.,Ltd.
Use of Music & Sound Design: Sophie Haydon, Creative Executive Producer, Sonar Music

The final deadline for this year’s Asia Pacific awards is July 10th.
The call for entries is open now and runs to July 10th 2026, with work eligible if it aired between July 6th 2025 and July 10th 2026.
Enter before June 5th for a discounted rate. The shortlist will be announced on September 23rd, with the winners revealed on September 30th.
