I grew up in the countryside, just a stone’s throw from the Atlantic coast, and I’ve always loved the fresh air and wide-open spaces.

Our parents used to take us to the mountains, summer and winter alike, where I learned to cycle, so I think I’ve always loved being on the move and discovering new faces and landscapes.

During my studies, and even now, I feel this need for movement and discovery, which is why I enjoy my work so much, as it offers me this every day.

Of course, like everyone, I need a few key ingredients to maintain my balance and keep a clear mind in a world that’s so fast-paced:

The Daughter

The first ingredient is, without a doubt, my daughter - my little one.

She loves being on the move as much as I do, and she’s my top motivation from the moment I wake up.

I love being a dad, sharing my passions with her, and discovering hers.

While sometimes demanding, I’m quite fond of our routine.

Taking her to school, making her breakfast, doing some stretching together, styling her hair into pigtails when we have time, and cycling to school.

When I drop her off, I always get a kiss and a hug—the best fuel for the day ahead. 😊

The Mountains

The mountains, always and forever, are a huge source of motivation for me.

Whether it’s summer or winter, I love pedalling, skiing, or hiking.

While Barcelona is known for the Mediterranean, what won me over more than anything was its proximity to the mountains and the ability to enjoy them year-round.

The Run

A new and completely unexpected passion is running in the morning before starting my day.

It has become a ritual I’d find hard to give up.

My office is in Poblenou, just 100 metres from the beach, and I consider myself incredibly lucky to be able to take full advantage of that.

The Ride

I remember watching my dad leave on his bike every weekend to ride 100 km.

I couldn’t quite understand it back then.

I’ve always been an advocate for cycling in the city, but over the past ten years, I’ve also been travelling or going out on weekends to explore the region by bike.

Here, it’s a paradise.

Looking forward to the weekend ride keeps me motivated throughout the week.

The Comics

I’ve unfortunately never been a big reader, but my love for comics more than makes up for it... or so I hope.

I love discovering new authors, stories, documentaries, fiction, and styles.

Closely tied to my work, I’m passionate about immersing myself in this colourful and inspiring world.

I also love spending time in bookshops, and Barcelona has many, often open until 9 pm.

The Café

No, I’m not a coffee freak.

I have tea for breakfast, and coffee only comes into play when it’s time to get into work mode.

My favourite place for that is Warung Café.

I'm often joined by people from the industry - creatives, producers, etc - and I love sharing experiences and discovering talent there.

Their coffee is excellent, the owners are lovely, and the space is cosy without being overly fancy or too cold.

It’s my go-to spot for professional meetings for all these reasons.
