BAFTA-nominated British director Peter Lydon has signed with RSA for UK representation.
Having made his name in landmark British TV series like Shameless, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Teachers and Poirot, Lydon has gone on to carve out a high profile in commercials. He has directed legends like Al Pacino, Scarlett Johansen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mads Mikkelsen and Michael Caine, utilising their talents to produce award-winning campaigns for brands like Dunlop, Carlsberg, Samsung and Sky.
An innovative comedy creator, Lydon has seen his work awarded at Cannes Lions, D&AD, Kinsale, Paramount Comedy Shorts, Facebook Studio Innovation Awards, and the One Show.
In 2024 Lydon has already clocked up films with icons like David Beckham, Erling Haaland and José Mourinho, showing off his ability to mine comedic performance from big name non-actors. His spots with José Mourinho for TOPPS, released to coincide with this years UEFA Championship, captured the deadpan essence of 'The Special One' winning three Clio awards.
