The London-based studio adds the director, known for commercials, films and music videos, to its roster.
London-based studio NERD Productions has added filmmaker Sakari Lerkkanen to its roster, expanding its line-up with a director whose work spans commercials, films and music videos.
His portfolio includes projects for Campari, Elizabeth Arden, Sony, Bacardi, Flashscore, Petr Čech and Cecilia Brækhus.
Lerkkanen’s television commercial for Elizabeth Arden highlights his blend of striking visuals and kinetic camerawork, while his Ode to Cinema campaign for Campari draws on influences from noir, 1960s spy thrillers and 1990s crime dramas. The project celebrated the brand’s long association with film, referencing appearances in titles such as Casino Royale and La Grande Bellezza.

In addition to his commercial work, many of Lerkkanen’s award-winning films are self-penned or co-created with other writers, underlining his interest in narrative projects as well as advertising campaigns.
