Mayling Wong joins PRETTYBIRD UK
The talented producer with a keen eye for new talent lands a senior role as Executive Producer with the award-winning PRETTYBIRD UK.
PRETTYBIRD UK welcome acclaimed Producer Mayling Wong to the nest.
In her new role as Executive Producer, Wong will help shape the company across Commercials and Music Videos, bringing her signature blend of creativity, craft, and industry insight.
Widely recognized for her sharp creative vision and ability to champion talent, Wong has spent her career elevating artists and uncovering standout opportunities across advertising and entertainment. She’ll collaborate closely with PRETTYBIRD UK’s Managing Director Emily Rudge and Director of Production Fiona Bamford-Phillips, as well as the US leadership team, including CEO Kerstin Emhoff, President Ali Brown, VP Suzanne Hargrove, and Executive Producer of Music Videos & Talent Development Candice Dragonas.

Beginning her career as a fashion photographer and assistant to Mark Lebon, Mayling transitioned into moving image production, bringing a unique visual sensibility to her work. During her seven years at Partizan, Wong served as Executive Producer of Music Videos and Content, where she developed an impeccable reputation for producing standout work for global brands and artists, including Versace, Apple, and Ganni. She collaborated with celebrated directors such as Michel Gondry and Warren Fu, earning two nominations for Best Producer at the UKMVAs.
Wong also spent time at Spindle, where she nurtured a roster of progressive talent, developing directors within the commercial landscape and producing award-winning work across advertising and entertainment. Her notable projects included campaigns for Adidas’ Men’s and Women’s EUROs and Shelter’s campaign for temporary accommodation. As well as advertising, Wong recently developed and produced the short film A Loud Piece of Armour with Molly Burdett, which was showcased at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
An entrepreneur at heart, Wong is also a partner in Four Elements, a Bulgaria-based service company where she provides expert production support across international projects.
