m ss ng p eces promotes Rebecca Davis to Executive Producer and Vicky Illk to Head of Production, Live Action.
mss ng p eces is strengthening its leadership team with the appointments of Rebecca Davis as Executive Producer and Vicky Illk as Head of Production.
Davis joins EPs Dave Saltzman, Dinah Rodriguez, Edward Grann, and Arelys Perez, while Illk steps into the role of Head of Production, Live Action, working closely alongside Alex Curran, Head of Immersive Production. In their new roles, both Davis and Illk continue to deliver the high-touch, exceptional level of creative production that m ss ng p eces is known for.
Davis started her career as a freelance producer and came to m ss n g p eces nine years ago as the Head of Production. She was later promoted to Director of Production, a role she has served in for over three years. A well-rounded professional, she is just as meticulous at budgeting and operations as she is at discerning visual style, judgment, and taste.
"Rebecca has led production at m ss ng p eces for almost a decade, shepherding countless projects that have consistently been heralded as some of the industry's best. We couldn't be more thrilled that she'll bring her brilliance as a leader into a new chapter as an Executive Producer on our team,” shared Brian Latt, Managing Partner, m ss ng p eces.
Illk joined the m ss ng peces team in 2016 and has risen through the ranks, most recently serving as a Senior Bidding Producer. She came to the industry as a stand-in on blockbuster films in New Orleans, before working freelance on productions in Austin and Los Angeles. Illk is a graduate of Tulane University, with honours in Psychology, and is a Meisner Technique-trained actor, with a background in stand-up and sketch comedy.
“Vicky has been an integral member of our team for nearly ten years, approaching production challenges with humour and empathy,” added Latt. “We value her commitment and support of the creative vision of the company's directors, and we’re so happy to have her as our new Head of Live Action Production.”
