Joint is expanding its senior leadership team, with the appointment of Ayla de Moraes to the newly created role of Head of Strategy, as the agency continues to build on a sustained period of growth.

de Moraes will lead the strategy on a range of accounts, including Amazon, Pilgrim’s Europe and Belvoir Farm. Reporting into Rowenna Prest, Chief Strategy Officer, de Moraes will also support the agency’s new business drive and help define its strategic direction as it scales.

Over her career, de Moraes has built experience spanning global network agencies to small independents, with expertise across both brand and digital strategy. Most recently, she was Head of Strategy at Orange Panther Collective where she worked with emerging brands and the likes of The Financial Times.

de Moraes has worked with high-profile brands including Nestle, Garnier, Avis and Budget, Canderel, Fentimans, Mercedes, Smart Car, O2 - on Campaign’s Campaign of the Year Be More Dog, and the relaunch of Avis’ We Try Harder.

She also launched her own e-commerce business in the Middle East, the first sustainable concept store in the region, with distribution rights of globally recognised sustainable brands.

The move marks the next step in Joint’s growth, strengthening the agency’s strategic leadership as it continues to expand its client portfolio.

Rowenna Prest, Chief Strategy Officer at Joint, said: “Ayla brings an incredible breadth of experience from big network agencies to small independents, spanning brand and digital strategy, all of which makes her perfectly placed to answer any modern marketing challenge. We’re very excited that she’s joining us”.

Speaking on her appointment, de Moraes said: “From the second I walked into Joint, I knew this was where I wanted to hang my hat. The momentum, the people, the brands, the work. It’s an agency built for what's next. Not one that creates work for work's sake, but work that genuinely moves people and businesses forward. I'm excited to be part of that momentum, helping our clients uncover growth where others aren't looking and turning it into results that are as meaningful as they are measurable.”
