Creative studio Jelly announces the addition of three artistically distinct storytellers, Corey Langelotti, Sophie Koko Gate and Christa Jarrold, to its international roster of creative collaborators.

“We’ve been carefully curating a roster of bold, complementary talent who are as sharp creatively as they are culturally tuned-in,” says Joint MD and Executive Creative Director Charlie Sells. “Sophie, Christa and Corey all bring something genuinely special. They’re strategically minded, wildly inventive and brilliant at turning big ideas into stories that feel human, funny, and very much of the moment. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome them.”

Gate is an animation director who crafts playful worlds and unique character-driven stories. She treats every project as an ecosystem; where research, drawing and narrative converge to deliver unexpected ideas and relatable humour. Guided by curiosity and championing imperfection, she has collaborated with brands including Nike, Adult Swim, Vice, and Airbnb, using her creativity and imagination to create highly memorable campaigns.

Beyond commercial work, Gate is a storyteller, educator, and community builder. Her award-winning films, like Slug Life and Hotel Kalura, have screened at Sundance and SXSW, while initiatives like The Neighbours Zine create space for real-world connection and dialogue.

Jelly Head of Film, Sue Loughlin, comments: “Sophie is exactly the kind of director who embodies everything we champion at Jelly: beautiful craft, endless curiosity, and a fearlessness to follow an idea somewhere unexpected. Her worlds feel playful but purposeful, surreal but grounded, like you’ve stumbled into a dream that somehow knows a bit too much about you. We know she’ll think up some truly authentic and transformational campaigns for the right brands.”

Jarrold is an animation director whose surreal claymation-style worlds are filled with texture, nostalgia and darkly comedic observations on modern life.

Inspired by the tactile nature of stop motion animation and drawn to the speed of CGI, Jarrold’s work aims to bring back the ‘messiness’ in digital design, by embracing a hybrid, human-touch aesthetic. Jarrold’s approach to storytelling champions characters that are authentic, relatable and a little weird. She has used her craft and unique storytelling in collaboration with brands including Oatly, Apple, Coldplay and Netflix.

Pierre Gobin, Jelly EP, adds: “Christa has a rare ability to capture the chaos of modern life and turn it into work that feels funny, honest, and weirdly personal, using a style that’s flexible but instantly recognisable. That’s what makes it so accessible for clients. She’s bold, with a strong sense of narrative and relatable characters. What sets her apart is the mix of concept and craft, because she can bring ideas to life in really creative and impactful ways.”

Langelotti is a director who moves seamlessly between 2D, 3D, live action, and VFX, choosing the medium that best serves the idea. His approach favours cinematic simplicity, where a single gesture, look, or moment carries the weight of the story, and his technical fluency ensures creative ideas are realised efficiently and with clarity.

From CG Lead to Creative Director, and early days at MPC and Gentleman Scholar to art direction at Brand New School and creative leadership at Hornet, Langelotti has spent years shaping both his craft and his process.

Gobin comments: “Corey has an incredible instinct for storytelling; he can read a script and immediately see both the challenges and the opportunities. His breadth of expertise allows each brief to be approached from multiple angles. What excites us most is how naturally he connects disciplines; directing shoots, guiding collaboration with artists, and keeping the visual language consistent from script to delivery. We think that multidisciplinary fluency is rare and hugely valuable."

Jelly will represent Gate and Jarold globally for commercial projects, while Langelotti will be represented globally excluding the US and Canada.
