Jason Ryan joins Harbor as sound creative director
Alongside Ryan joining is Steve Perski, who is elevated to group creative director leading the sound team for the US, and Alex Levatter joins as assistant mixer.
Harbor have announced key creative appointments within its award-winning sound division, reinforcing its leadership in innovation, technology, and premium artistry across the US.
Jason Ryan has joined Harbor as Creative Director, Sound. Based in Chicago, Ryan brings more than two decades of experience in audio post. He spent over a decade at FCB Chicago and earlier worked with the Chicago Recording Company, shaping acclaimed campaigns for brands including Michelob Ultra, SC Johnson, Boeing, and Fiat Chrysler, among many others. A graduate of Full Sail University, Ryan’s expertise spans commercial, branded, and long-form storytelling, with a strong focus on pushing creative boundaries through technology.
In addition, Steve Perski has been elevated to Group Creative Director, Sound Post, where he will lead Harbor’s US sound division.

Harbor also announced the promotion of Mark Turrigiano to Creative Director. Turrigiano’s award-winning credits span both advertising and entertainment, from the My Brother’s Keeper spots with President Obama to Magnolia Pictures’ The Brink, alongside campaigns for brands such as Budweiser, FanDuel, Visa, and Lancôme.
Alex Levatter joins as Assistant Mixer, also based in Chicago. A graduate of Northwestern University’s Sound Arts and Industries Master’s program, Levatter has earned festival-recognised credits at Sundance and SXSW and gained experience at Skywalker Sound among other top facilities. Their background in mixing, Foley, and sound design adds fresh perspective to Harbor’s growing roster.
Harbor’s advertising sound division delivers premium audio experiences across every platform from television commercials and radio to digital campaigns, branded content, and experiential activations. Backed by Harbor’s enterprise-scale infrastructure, the team is continuously pushing the limits of technology. This includes developing AI-driven workflows to streamline production and unlock new creative possibilities.
