Imposter announce the signing of Kayla and Krista Kummerl, better known as The Kummerl Twins, to its roster for commercial and branded content representation. 

With a bold visual style, a dedication to cultural authenticity, and a deep understanding of Gen Z, The Kummerl Twins are poised to become a major creative force in the world of advertising.

Raised in a Korean-Hispanic household, the fraternal twins’ distinct but complementary talents blend seamlessly into a unified creative vision. Their work fuses rich cultural influence with the raw energy of contemporary youth culture, producing stories that resonate deeply with a new generation, while maintaining wide appeal.

Starting their careers as production designers, the twins worked on hundreds of commercial sets before stepping behind the camera. This hands-on experience laid the groundwork for their signature style: colourful, dynamic, and meticulously crafted. With a foundation in theatre and a flair for bold visual composition, their films transform everyday moments into striking, cinematic experiences.

The Kummerl Twins have directed standout campaigns for global brands such as Instagram, Walmart, and Corona, combining style with substance and infusing their work with a distinctly youthful sensibility. “We’re Gen Z, why wouldn’t we tell our own story?” they ask. “We’re done with the watered-down versions of our generation. Our work is inspired by the real stuff: our friends, our feeds, the unfiltered energy of how we live. We take that rawness and turn it into something loud, honest, and cinematic.”

Their appointment signals a major step forward for Imposter, a production company known for championing progressive talent and innovation.

The Kummerl Twins are currently in post-production on a series of new projects, including campaigns for Hippeas, Fortnite, and Meta. Their hands-on approach to post is key to their process, bringing rhythm, personality, and a refined sense of tone to everything they make.

Beyond commercials, the duo is actively developing their first short film, inspired by their theatrical roots, and laying the groundwork for a feature film debut, further showcasing their ambitions to tell longer-form, emotionally resonant stories. With Imposter’s support, The Kummerl Twins are set to leave a bold imprint on the commercial world, crafting campaigns that look as incredible as they feel, while capturing the spirit of a generation.
