Ikon Pass is rad on demand
Creative agency Nemo Design and FIN Studios turn on the adventure with concept and production for Ikon Pass.
In an action-packed spot slinging snow across multiple mountains, creative agency Nemo Design and FIN Studios turn on the adventure with concept and production for Ikon Pass in the ad Rad on Demand.
Channeling the endless options Ikon Pass holders have to seek unique mountain adventures, the creative team at Nemo designed Rad on Demand around a retro-tech “Stoke Station” featuring an oversized remote control, allowing audiences to jump through footage and stomp the landing at 70+ Ikon Pass destinations worldwide.
FIN Studios director Jeremy Pettit, who has memories of his own stoke station from childhood, brought the custom Colorado cabin to life with art direction by Jade Wolf. The live-action interior shots connected to footage filmed on-mountain at Winter Park Resort in Colorado, with pro snowboarder Yuki Kadono, and pro skiers Ana Eyssimont and Pete Koukov. FIN editor George Trimm brought the story together with striking, fast-paced editing to translate the adrenaline factor of a day on the slopes.

“This spot was a blast to create; Yuki, Ana, and Pete have an energy that embodies the spirit of adventure, and they make everything look fun,” says Cody Browning, Nemo Art Director.
Continues Nemo Creative Director Mark Lewman, “Jeremy and the FIN team brought a cinematic level of quality to the story that put it over the top.”
“It was a joy to work with Nemo Design. Their concept of the remote control and the ‘Stoke Station’ immediately jumped off the page as the perfect device to visually show what Ikon Pass is all about, and in a way that viewers can instantly and viscerally understand,” says Alex Cohn, Chief Content Officer of FIN Studios.
Adds Pettit, “Growing up in the 90s, my stoke station was a VHS player and the old TV in the family rec room where I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner, just soaking in every second of my skate and snowboard video collection. I wanted to mix some of that pre-Internet era nostalgia with the idea of the resort webcams we use to check live conditions now. The thrifted-tech interface controlled by an extra-large magical remote came to life with the help of our Production Designer, Jade Wolf, who brought a nice blend of retro meets modern practical components. Mark and Cody at Nemo helped guide the vision while giving Jade and me the freedom to do our thing. Collaborating with Mark and Cody and the Nemo team was special, a truly integrated effort, and a lot of fun along the way.”
