How not to... age
In this episode of the ongoing series of video interviews, Culture Editor Amy Kean chats with Jane Evans and Carol Russell, co-authors of the recently released Invisible to Invaluable: Unleashing the Power of Midlife Women, about why midlife women are often overlooked and certainly underestimated.
Published last month, Invisible to Invaluable: Unleashing the Power of Midlife Women, examines how, despite being pioneers in in all areas of work and society, women born between 1950 and 1975 have become almost completely invisible except to their families and friends, and how this has happened just at the point when the world needs their wisdom, empathy and experience the most.

powered byKean chats to the book's co-authors, Jane Evans and Carol Russell, about why the punk generation of midlife women are still cool and could be the key to a better world, how sisterhood is different to brotherhood, why people need to admit to their mistakes, and why men shouldn't be afraid of being challenged.
In a frank, forthright and funny 20 minutes, they also highlight some of the midlife heroes who went before them, such as publisher Verna Wilkins and writer/publisher/producer Una Marson.
