Global creative studio Heckler has appointed Dora Claire as Executive Producer & Head of Production, bringing fresh energy, international experience and a bold vision for the studio's next chapter in Asia.

With the recent appointment of Jonathan Gerard and the established creative direction of Cody Amos, Claire rounds out the new look leadership team.

“Asia doesn't need another production company. It needs creative partners who are prepared to challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of what's possible,” says Will Alexander, Co-Founder and CEO of Heckler.

“With Dora joining Jonathan and Cody, we've assembled a powerhouse leadership team with the talent, experience and ambition to take Heckler Singapore to another level. We're combining world-class craft, bold creative thinking and emerging technology to build something truly distinctive. The opportunity across Asia is enormous, and we've got the people to go after it. Watch this space.”

Having managed productions spanning Australia, Dubai and Southeast Asia, Claire has built a career crossing creative disciplines, cultures and borders. With a background spanning art, film, television and advertising, she brings a unique perspective on connecting great ideas with the people and production expertise to bring them to life.

"I've always been drawn to bringing ideas to life, not just imagining them," says Claire. "What I love most is bringing talented people together to make something none of us could have made alone."

In her new role, Claire will drive creative operations, new business and strategic partnerships, with a clear ambition: to position Heckler as a creative partner from the first spark of an idea, not just the final stages of execution.

"Heckler has an incredible foundation of talent, technical craft and production expertise. But I want people to think of us earlier in the creative process. We can help shape the brief, challenge conventions and find smarter, more exciting ways to bring ideas to life."

As the lines between advertising, entertainment and filmmaking continue to blur, Claire sees an opportunity for Heckler to push beyond traditional production boundaries, bringing cinematic storytelling, emerging technology and creative thinking into sharper focus.

"Audiences don't care where a great story comes from. They care how it makes them feel. I'm excited by the potential to combine the emotional depth of cinema, the clarity of advertising and the world-building of entertainment to create work that really stays with people."

With Singapore at the crossroads of Asia's diverse creative industries, Claire is equally focused on building stronger regional connections and opening doors to new collaborations.

"Asia isn't one market or one audience, and that's what makes it exciting. Singapore is uniquely positioned to connect creative talent, brands and ideas across the region. I want Heckler to be the partner that helps ambitious ideas travel further without losing what makes them distinctive."

Beyond the work, Claire is passionate about building the teams, culture and creative environment that make great things happen.

"I love building teams, relationships and new ways of working. Great production is about creating the right conditions for creativity to thrive. I want a studio where people feel empowered to do their best work, clients feel like genuine collaborators and curiosity is always part of the process." And her message to the industry?

"Come and have a beer or coffee with us. Bring us your boldest brief, your wildest idea or something you haven't quite figured out yet. The best work comes from good people trusting each other and being brave enough to try something new." As for her dream gig? Producing a music video for Korn of course.
