With over two decades of experience and a track record spanning iconic television and feature projects, Finley is renowned for his emotive visual sensibility and technical excellence. His artistry earned him two HPA Awards for Outstanding Colour Grading – Television, both for HBO’s Game of Thrones, first for Season two’s The Prince of Winterfell and again for the Season eight premiere, Winterfell, along with six total nominations for the series.

Finley’s episodic credits include 3 Body Problem, The Lincoln Lawyer, The Chair, Hunters, Jupiter’s Legacy, and Insecure, while his film credits exceed 100 titles, including The Descendants, 3:10 to Yuma, and Walk the Line.

He is widely recognised for his collaborative style, having worked closely with visionaries such as Alexander Payne, Adam McKay, James Mangold, Frederick Elmes, Gregory Middleton, Anette Haellmigk, and others.

“Colour has the power to subtly shape emotions and enhance storytelling,” said Finley. “I strive to bring out the best in every frame, ensuring that the vision of the director and cinematographer is fully realised.”

Massimo D’Avolio, EVP of Post Production at Harbor, added: “Joe’s mastery of colour and storytelling embodies everything Harbor stands for, innovation, artistry, and an unwavering commitment to creative excellence. His ability to shape emotion and enhance the visual language of a project through colour is nothing short of transformative.”

Finley will be available for projects across episodic, streaming, and theatrical releases, working from Harbor’s studios in the US and UK.
