Fresh Film welcomes Harleymoon Kemp to its global roster, representing her across the UK, USA and Asia.
A meeting of minds, the signing brings together Fresh Film’s 20 years of beauty expertise with a director who lives and breathes the world she shoots. Specialising in hair and beauty campaigns with a sharp visual edge, Kemp champions women both in front of and behind the camera.
Her bold, beautifully crafted work brings together film, photography, fashion, music and performance into work that is playful and alive. Alongside filmmaking she is a musician and composer, bringing an innate understanding of sound, rhythm and movement to everything she shoots.
Beginning her career in lighting at just 17, moving to fashion and celebrity photography (including photographing the Queen), before moving into directing. Alongside her wider experience as an EP and production company founder, giving Kemp an unusually complete understanding of the creative process, from the first spark of an idea to its final exeuction on screen.
She joins Fresh Film’s gender-balanced roster, reflecting the female-founded company’s longstanding commitment to championing distinctive voices both behind and in front of the camera. Her signing also reflects Fresh Film’s continued evolution, bringing together distinctive filmmaking talent with specialist expertise in beauty, self-care and culturally relevant storytelling.
