Production house electriclime° hosted an insightful and dynamic talk at its °W13 office in Alserkal Avenue, exploring the transformative role that AI and GenAI tools are expected to have on the advertising and commercial filmmaking industries.

The evening marked the official launch of the company’s new programme at the Al Quoz office, and brought together like-minded and curious members of the filmmaking community.

The attendees got the chance to listen to three industry experts and engage in open dialogue amongst each other, creating an inspiring space to network and voice important ideas. The event was attended by creatives, strategists, filmmakers, and media professionals from across the UAE and beyond, all eager to explore the evolving intersection between cutting-edge tech and compelling narratives.

The panel of three experts was moderated by electriclime°’s Omar Ibrahim and included Tahaab Rais, Group Chief Strategy Officer & Film Director at Publicis Groupe, Serge Viranian, Partner & Managing Director at Mojo, and Dmitry Zhukov, acclaimed film director.

Each speaker brought unique and valuable insights to the discussion, diving deep into their areas of expertise. This included Tahaab’s innovative and adaptive take on the future of creative and brand strategy, stating “We are all going to be superhero filmmakers.”  This added to Viranian’s pragmatic and functional approach to agency operations and workflows, adding: “If you're good at doing something, AI will make you much, much better.”

Meanwhile, Zhukov said: “We are all going to become our own film studio,” as he gave an inspiring and optimistic outlook on storytelling & filmmaking. The talking sparked engaging conversations and discussions among audience members and created room for meaningful dialogue.

This event is part of electriclime°’s ongoing commitment to creative thought leadership and fostering community within the global film and advertising community.

The next event at °W13 will be held on June 12th, with the theme focused on Sustainability in Commercial Production.
