Cassie Marin is a Double Sided Girl

Double Sided Girl by Cassie Marin takes viewers on a visually captivating journey, exploring the abstract and complex nature of identity. 

Using bold black-and-white contrasts and minimalist design, the piece highlights the inner duality we all experience while revealing the many layers that make up a single personality in a fun, playful way. With dynamic edits, each part of the animation uncovers a new side of Cassie Marin, creating a striking visual exploration of the multifaceted self.

The video was shot at Barcode Photo Studio in Culver City over two days without funding or a label. What started out as a test shoot became half of the music video's content. 

"I collaborated with my husband, Toby, to help bring the video to life. Cassie's husband, Gerardo, also pitched in with the photography and colour of the video. I used triangular mirrors to create the Infiniti faceted look, leaning on my design background as a driving creative for the music video." said Mirada director Vanessa Marzaroli.
