Coach - Explore Your Story
I loved the spot my fellow new–land director, Marcus Ibanez, did for Coach. I’ve missed seeing films that truly evoke you. I love seeing something that makes me think, something that isn’t just a spot in itself but a campaign that actually wants to do more. To create awareness around banned books about diversity, sexual identity, and equality.
It made me think about literature, my love for reading and also, honestly, it basically made me want a book as an accessory.

Sweden loves IKEA. It has a special place in everyone’s heart. IKEA is a part of everyday life here.
With this campaign produced by B-Reel Films, IKEA created a lot from something very simple, an ordinary situation. They didn’t overdo it. They trusted their audience, which is something everyone should do.
Be bold, be simple, and you will succeed. They did. Congrats!

I can’t talk about Sweden without mentioning the queen Robyn. She returned, more open, authentic and brave than ever before.
Being a sexy single mother in
her late forties is not easy. It’s often the ones that are yelled at and everyone
thinks they are embarrassing. But Robyn is here to change that and that’s about
time. Look at this image. She’s a happy, sexy single embarrassing mum and it’s just
so inspiring.

Lykke Li - The Afterparty
I can’t mention the queen of pop without mentioning the diva of indie.
Lykke Li’s new videos, directed by Theo Lindquist, are just amazing. I’ve never seen anything like them before, a loop, a feeling, a whole atmosphere. Many people think they’re made with AI, but they were actually filmed and crafted over a long period of time, with incredible work put into making them mind blowing, spectacular, and still authentic.
I think they’re genius and truly groundbreaking in a music world where everything is usually so polished and perfect. This feels unique and simply brilliant!
