Artclass signs director Luke Jaden
Jaden brings a uniquely intimate and immersive style to his work, crafting raw, delicate human stories through a lens that feels both cinematic and deeply personal.
ArtClass has welcomed award-winning filmmaker Luke Jaden to its directorial roster, further expanding the studio’s commitment to poetic, emotionally resonant storytelling across commercial, documentary, and narrative formats.
Jaden brings a uniquely intimate and immersive style to his work, crafting raw, delicate human stories through a lens that feels both cinematic and deeply personal. Whether exploring autobiographical themes or elevating brand narratives, his approach is defined by honesty, restraint, and a deep visual sensitivity.
In 2023, Jaden earned a place in the SHOOT New Directors Showcase for his commercial work with Ford, and was also named Best New Filmmaker by Filmsupply. His short film Hemingway, a tender portrayal of his son’s birth, was shortlisted at Cannes YDA and featured on the 1.4 Longlist, cementing his status as a rising voice in emotionally complex, visually arresting cinema. His storytelling extends to narrative shorts like King Ripple starring LaKeith Stanfield, and his forthcoming feature film Animals of the Land.
Commercially, Jaden has helmed work for brands including ZARA Kids, Carhartt, Dove, Bose, PETA, Honda, and Ford, as well as cause-driven content for Sandy Hook Promise and Moms Demand Action. His documentary short Aya, created in partnership with the Heroic Hearts Project, explores the transformative power of psychedelic therapy for veterans, exemplifying his ability to tell nuanced stories with empathy and cinematic finesse.
“Kirsten Arongino is really what attracted me to ArtClass,” says Jaden. “The way she’s nurtured emerging voices and built a creative home for directors is inspiring. To be part of that ecosystem, and to begin this new chapter with her and the ArtClass team, feels like the perfect next step.”
Kirsten Arongino, Managing Director at ArtClass, adds: “We don’t have anyone like Luke on our roster. He has a rare ability to slow things down and draw audiences into highly specific, emotionally resonant moments. His cinematic voice is both grounded and elevated, and we’re proud to support his creative evolution.”
