Anna Blake heads to Stept Studios
Stept Studios appoints Emmy Award–winning marketer Anna Blake to lead expanding experiential efforts.
Stept Studios has appointed Anna Blake as Senior Director, Experiential & Brand Strategy, where she will lead the studio’s growing experiential practice, shaping cinematic brand experiences that bridge storytelling, culture, and community.
In her role, Blake will help Stept’s brand partners translate strategy into expanded storytelling, bringing their vision to life across the studio’s full suite of creative, production, and experiential capabilities.
Blake brings over 15 years of marketing and partnership experience spanning entertainment, technology, and live experiences for some of the world’s most recognisable brands. An Emmy Award–winning marketer, she most recently served at Paramount, where she helped spearhead the Nickelodeon rebrand and brought it to life through high-impact activations at the Super Bowl, Comic-Con, VidCon, and MLB events nationwide.
Prior to Paramount, Blake played a pivotal role at Superfly X, leading marketing for touring pop-ups including The Friends Experience, The Office Experience, and the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival. Earlier in her career, she held key brand and partnership roles at Apple and Pinterest, collaborating with leading names in CPG, entertainment, and travel to bring culturally resonant campaigns to life across creative and media ecosystems.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Stept Studios team to help our long-standing partners and new brands reimagine what storytelling means in experiential,” said Blake. “Stept’s cinematic DNA and creative ambition make it the ideal place to push the boundaries of how brand stories are felt, not just seen, in the real world.”
Stept has long been recognised for creating advertising that feels like entertainment, producing high-profile campaigns and live moments that blur the line between storytelling and experience. The studio’s past experiential work includes bringing together more than 700 people to attempt a world record in the snow with Chelsea Handler for Gold Bond, building a climbing wall on top of a skyscraper for Got Milk ahead of climbing’s debut in the Olympics.
“Expanding our experiential muscle is a natural next step for Stept,” said Meredith Rodriguez, Chief Growth Officer at Stept Studios. “We’ve spent years helping brands connect through film, storytelling, and shared cultural moments. Bringing that same creative ambition into the real world through experiences is where we see brands gaining the most impact. Anna’s background makes her the perfect addition to help shape this next chapter.”
Blake’s appointment marks the next phase in Stept’s evolution as the studio builds on its reputation for immersive storytelling to meet growing demand from brands and agencies for in-person experiences and activations. Stept offers a consultative approach to brand strategy, creative development, and execution, continuing to bridge film, culture, and live experience in fresh and meaningful ways.
