Red roses, chocolates or slinky underwear... these are some of the more traditional presents to give/receive on Valentine's Day... but would you (or more importantly, could you) say no to a chocolate pizza?

john st. has come up with an innovative way to pump out the power of love today by opening up Cioccolato's, a pop-up chocolate pizzeria in partnership with baking specialists Dr. Oetker.

Not only does the menu consist of chocolate treats, but the deco - from the tables, the chairs, walls, oven and chandelier - are all made of the good stuff too, inspired by requests made by Canadians' chocolate dreams and realised by local artisans, like artist Adrian Forrow and diamond specialists, Heart in Diamond.

“We made chocolate flowers and chocolate chandeliers,” says creative director Mark Scott. “One guy asked for a chocolate shark. We couldn’t do that, but we did make a chocolate shark painting...” [that was obviously framed in chocolate too!]

Open since National Pizza Day (Feb 9th), the restaurant is only available to Toronto residents or those willing to travel to West Queen West neighbourhood (between Queen and Shaw streets FYI) and will continue serving until end of close today.

So pop in, go on a tour of the place and look longingly (and lustfully) at your lover over a slice of Cioccolato. Happy Valentine's Day!
