What’s the best ad campaign you’ve seen recently?

I like the idea behind GE’s What If Millie Dresselhaus, Female Scientist, Was Treated Like a Celebrity?. I think It’s important to get away from this crazy celebrity culture where you can be famous for starring in a bad reality show and focus on looking up to people who achieve something special that changes our lives in a positive way.

What website(s) do you use most regularly and why?

BBC sport.    

What’s the most recent piece of tech that you’ve bought and why?

A new Apple laptop that requires another new type of charger and another adaptor that I can lose and isn’t compatible with any other apple products.

What’s your favoured social media platform?

Nothing with status updates. Instagram probably, anything image driven.

What’s your favourite app on your phone?

Spotify.

What’s your favourite TV show and why?

The Wire. It takes a bit of time to get into it but was groundbreaking in its originality, like a filmic novel; a masterpiece!

What film do you think everyone should have seen and why?

Anything with Richard Prior in it. Oh, and Planet Earth. Most recently I just finished  the doc, OJ Simpson: Made In America if that counts. Mind blowing!

Where were you when inspiration last struck?

I watched a documentary the other night called Undefeated, about a bunch of under-privileged kids from an American football team in Memphis who start to turn their fortunes around thanks to an inspiring coach.  

What’s the most significant change you’ve witnessed in the industry since you started working in it?

I really can’t point out one most significant change as so much is changing and so fast so better to concentrate on embracing the opportunities.

If there was one thing you could change about the advertising industry, what would it be?

Perhaps that there would be more risks taken and less fear based decisions. But referring back to my previous answer, I like to focus on the positives and the opportunities that are still out there. It still beats most other day jobs!

What or who has most influenced your career and why?

That has to be my father as he worked tirelessly to grow [Park Village] and create the ethos that remains today, whilst all the while treating people, whether junior or senior, young or old, with the same respect and kindness.

Tell us one thing about yourself that most people won’t know.

I once beat George Best at pool, it went down to the black.
