Following from their insane new TV ad, WCRS have created an equally epic social media video for McCoy's that takes a flavour-packed spin on the subtitles that feature on Facebook videos.

With statistics saying that only 15% of videos on Facebook and Twitter are watched with sound on, most big brands use social media videos that have a subtitle track on them. McCoy's take a spin on this trend in Subtitles, directed by Daniel Kleinman of Rattling Stick.

The video combines their current campaign of people being called by 'Flavour', who makes crazy things happen when they answer, and the need for subtitles in social media vids. After a woman answers the call, 'Flavour' worries that regular subtitles 'aren't flavoursome enough' for McCoy's, with the rest of the video being subtitled with increasingly outlandish subtitles.

WCRS ECD Billy Faithfull said of the new ad, which accompanies a new TV ad feature the same woman warding off a seagull, 'when it comes to Facebook, subtitles have become the default, because nobody’s listening. But they’re standard. Functional. Safe. We had a different idea. We knew it was an opportunity to unleash the full flavour of McCoy’s and turn the problem on its head. Just try not to blink.'
