VCCP Resolves Youth Unemployment with Totaljobs

Cast your mind back to applying for your first job... You might remember feeling stressed, agitated and nervous, knowing you lacked the confidence to convince potential employers to take a chance on you.

VCCP has tapped into these emotions to remind employers what jobseekers are going through when they embark on the terrifying, but all-consuming job search in a new five-part series for Totaljobs.

#MillionPoundJamie invested £1 million into 25-year-old Jamie Mudle from Ilford to document his journey and help him to secure his dream job of working in employment law.

Prepped and prodded by a celebrity hairstylist, posed by a celebrity photographer and picked apart by entrepreneur Claude Littner, Mudle bares all on camera in his attempt to find permanent employment.

Inspired by the issue of youth unemployment that currently plagues London, Totaljobs decided to step in and make an example of Mudle – proving that he is capable of finding his dream job given a bit of guidance.

Look out for the last spot in the series, which will be released on Totaljobs’ website and catch an interview with VCCP creative director Jim Capp later this week.
