With just nine days to go until the start of UEFA Euro 2016, mobile network (and official sponsor) Orange together with POKE has created a unique way to engage football fans.

As swarms of supporters are expected to take over Paris this summer, Orange has unveiled its latest offering; a campaign with fans at its centre that celebrates their commitment to the sport.

Orange Sponsors You will be activated in two parts.

Firstly, fans will be able to decide how the Eiffel Tower should be lit on the evening of each match. During the day, fans can leave messages on social media about which flag they think should be featured on the French landmark. After the final whistle has been blown, the winning team’s colours – both on the pitch and as voted off the pitch – will be projected onto the Tower along with encouraging messages of support. A live stream will be available here.

 

 

Secondly, football fans may be in with a chance to walk onto the pitch as Orange is keen to suss out who’s the most passionate supporter in the stadium. They’ll receive their 15 minutes’ of fame as they’ll appear on screen, on the Eiffel Tower and across social media, before collecting a Fan of the Match trophy after the game. Fans will be selected depending on how supportive they seem during matches as photographers scour the stadium looking to reward the ultimate fan.
