In a boardroom, a ceiling fan suggests the heat of the room. The tired, bedraggled jury all pass their verdicts to the end of the table. An old, unshaven man reads ‘guilty’ for every note, but is surprised to read ‘Blue hawk plaster coving, pack of 6, £9.99 at B&Q.’ The other jurors look around at a man nodding quietly to himself. ‘B&Q, prices so low you just have to tell somebody.’
