Reverie Content announces the signing of comedy directing duo The Director Brothers, comprised of Josh Martin and Ryan McNeely.

Known for their unique blend of cinematic visuals and genre-bending comedy, the pair brings their signature style of storytelling to Reverie’s expanding slate of creative talent.

Starting their careers at Funny or Die, the duo quickly made a name for themselves with their sharp comedic instincts and ability to merge classic stunts with motion graphics and VFX, resulting in visually bold, absurdly delightful narratives. Their talent for creating grounded characters in bizarre worlds has made them a sought-after force in both the branded and entertainment spaces.

Among their most recognisable projects are The Gorburger Show for Comedy Central, a surreal late-night format featuring an alien monster talk show host, and Neon Dimension, a high-octane YouTube series developed for German comedian Flula Borg. More recently, the duo collaborated with Flula again for Little Caesars’ satirical reality show-style campaign and crafted a bilingual comedy spot for Del Real Foods, spotlighting abuelas dishing out taco advice and unsolicited family wisdom.

Their commercial portfolio includes collaborations with major talent such as Kenan Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Blake Griffin, and Ken Jeong for clients like Thrifty, Kia, Pepto Bismol, and Pepsi. The brothers have also directed memorable campaigns for Jack in the Box, Cap’n Crunch, Skullcandy, GameStop, Booking.com, and Uber Eats.

“We couldn’t be more amped to be joining the Reverie roster,” said The Director Brothers. “Hope to see you all on set and/or the race track soon.”

Rich Pring, Partner and Executive Producer at Reverie, added: “As influential longtime creators and directors at Funny or Die, Ryan and Josh helped define the comedic voice of digital platforms. Add in their episodic comedy series for TV and YouTube, and it’s easy to see why The Director Brothers are perfectly poised for a wide spectrum of brand and entertainment collaborations.”

With their arrival, Reverie continues to strengthen its position as a go-to creative home for directors delivering bold, hilarious, and unexpected storytelling across formats.
