Agency VML has appointed Paul Randall as its first Chief Delivery Officer for North America to lead the agency's Program Delivery Organisation (PDO), a critical function supporting the end-to-end project lifecycle. 

The announcement comes as clients seek increasingly sophisticated global marketing solutions across brand, commerce technology, innovation and customer experience. Randall joins from R/GA to lead the delivery of high-quality client work efficiently and at scale for VML's largest region.

As Chief Delivery Officer, Randall will optimise delivery models and strengthen client partnership across VML’s North America client portfolio. He will also focus on clients undertaking major organisational transformation and those leveraging VML Customer Experience and Enterprise Solutions, key capabilities at VML that have attracted more than 29 new clients and significant organic growth over the past year. Randall will be responsible for building and maintaining best practices for how the agency produces and delivers work, streamlining processes and enhancing client collaboration. Randall leads a 400-person team of project delivery and project management experts, and reports to Jen McDonald, Chief Client Officer, Americas at VML.

Today VML successfully leverages its global network to serve clients, and Randall's leadership will be crucial for clients utilising Enterprise Solutions offerings and seeking seamless integration across disciplines.

Randall brings over 20 years of experience driving agency partner operations, specialising in program delivery, and leading customer experience (CX) transformation for a diverse range of clients. He joins VML from R/GA, where he served as Product & Experience program lead and was responsible for global delivery for major clients like Google. 

Prior to R/GA, Randall spent 10 years at Huge, focusing on improving delivery workflows, processes, and scoping efficiency across multiple offices and teams. His career also includes leadership positions at Ogilvy One UK and LBI UK. Randall has worked with an impressive roster of clients, including United Airlines, McDonald’s, Northern Trust, CNN, Turner, UPS, VW, Lilly, Diageo, Turkish Airlines, Unilever, and American Express.
